About the Course
Human resource functions are increasingly using artificial intelligence to support workforce planning, recruitment, learning, performance management, employee service and people analytics. These applications can improve speed and consistency, but HR decisions also carry significant fairness, privacy and employment-risk implications. Effective use therefore requires strong human oversight and transparent decision processes.
This course provides HR professionals with a practical, non-technical framework for applying AI across the employee lifecycle. It covers workforce analytics, recruitment support, candidate screening governance, AI-enabled learning, performance analytics, employee experience, HR service automation and responsible AI controls. The focus is on augmenting professional judgement rather than replacing accountable HR decision-making.
Participants work with realistic HR scenarios and develop practical tools such as an HR AI use-case matrix, recruitment prompt set, screening-control checklist, employee-service workflow and HR AI implementation plan. The course can be adapted to public-sector, private-sector, NGO or international organization HR environments.
Target Participants
The programme is designed for human resource managers, HR business partners, talent acquisition specialists, learning and development professionals, workforce planners, performance management officers, people analytics teams, employee-relations personnel, HR operations staff and managers responsible for HR digital transformation or workforce capability development.

Training Approach
The course combines short concept sessions with HR-specific case analysis, guided tool demonstrations and practical exercises covering recruitment, workforce planning, learning, employee service and performance management. Participants examine both productivity opportunities and the risks created when AI influences people decisions.
Exercises are designed around accountable augmentation: AI can support analysis and drafting, but participants define where human review, documentation, escalation and fairness controls must remain. The final application exercise converts learning into an HR AI roadmap.
Organizational Benefits
- Improved HR productivity across high-volume tasks.
- More consistent recruitment and employee-service workflows.
- Better use of workforce data for planning and development.
- Stronger controls around fairness, privacy and AI-supported people decisions.
- Improved employee communication and service responsiveness.
- A clearer roadmap for responsible HR digital transformation.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a Certificate of Course Completion from Devimpact Institute, recognizing the knowledge, practical skills and competencies developed through the programme.
Tailor-Made Course
This course can be customized and delivered as an in-house programme to address the specific policies, systems, sector context and capacity-development priorities of an organization. The course duration, modules, case studies and practical exercises may be adjusted following a training needs assessment.
