About the Course
Organizations working with communities, beneficiaries, staff, partners and contractors carry a duty to prevent sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment and other forms of misconduct. Policies alone are insufficient if reporting channels are inaccessible, risk assessments are weak, partners are not screened, and managers do not understand their responsibilities.
This course develops practical institutional safeguarding and PSEA capability. It covers risk assessment, codes of conduct, safe recruitment, partner due diligence, reporting channels, survivor-centred response principles, investigations governance, data confidentiality, management accountability and organizational culture.
Participants develop a safeguarding risk register, code-of-conduct review, reporting-channel map, partner due diligence checklist, case escalation protocol, management dashboard and institutional safeguarding action plan.
Target Participants
Safeguarding and PSEA focal points; HR professionals; programme managers; NGO and humanitarian staff; compliance and risk personnel; senior managers; partner-management teams; investigators and professionals responsible for organizational conduct systems.
