About the Course
Partnerships and sponsorships can extend organizational reach, credibility and stakeholder value, but poorly structured arrangements often produce unclear expectations, weak activation, brand risk or limited evidence of return. PR professionals need the ability to assess strategic fit, negotiate communication value and manage partner visibility throughout the relationship lifecycle.
This course covers partnership strategy, opportunity assessment, partner due diligence, sponsorship valuation, rights and benefits, activation planning, co-branding, partner communication, risk governance and performance measurement. It is designed for organizations using partnerships as a communication and relationship-building instrument rather than treating sponsorship as logo placement.
Participants will evaluate a partnership or sponsorship opportunity and develop an activation plan that connects objectives, audiences, rights, content, events, media, digital channels and measurement. They will also develop governance tools for approvals, brand use and partner performance reviews.
Target Participants
PR and corporate communication professionals, partnership managers, sponsorship officers, marketing communication teams, corporate affairs staff, event and brand teams, NGO partnership personnel and managers responsible for institutional collaborations.
